With a thread you can clothe the world. An unbroken thread can create cavities, structures, and patterns in the infinite.
KNITS BY THE METRE - a brand that stands for just that - knitted textiles by the metre. We produce modern knitted textiles for interiors.
Our ambition is that all our textiles should be characterized by a tactile sense for material, a modern and bold, yet beautiful, design, and finally the ability to communicate the playful atmosphere of experiment and joy that has grown during product development. KNITS BY THE METRE wants to bring new thoughts on how to use textiles.
When developing its first collection KNITS BY THE METRE worked very closely with a few selected manufacturers, bringing modern technology into a new field together.
KNITS BY THE METRE´s first collection Brave New World is made up of knitted textiles in materials such as linen, monofilament, and metal. Many of them combine expression, structure and effects not seen before.
